Appelplatz

Appelpaltz literally means the place where  names are called.

I started drawing the figure on the right.  He seemed too proud.  I couldn't imagine anyone lined-up  for the endless daily rollcalls feeling that proud.  I kept drawing figures too see if I could get the right amount of fear and apprehension.
